The 2025 AAED meeting was held over three days in Carlsbad, California.
On the final day, I had the honor of presenting a lecture that re-examined the concept of what truly constitutes a natural dental prosthesis.
Also using a specific clinical case as an example, I shared with attending dentists—through a detailed behind the scenes video, the complete A to Z process a dental technician undertakes to fabricate six maxillary anterior laminate veneers.
This year marked the 50th anniversary of the AAED, and I am deeply grateful and truly honored to have been invited to speak at such a prestigious milestone event.

I’ve just completed my mission at the 2025 Clínica Congress, BraziliaEsthetic Dentistry in Florianópolis, Brazil. This passionate event brought together some of the most renowned speakers from around the world to share their work and insights. I’m truly honored to have been included among them, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Luis Baratieri for the invitation. Congratulations on the overwhelming success of the event — without a doubt, one of the best meetings in the world.
As a side note…
I stayed in Brazil for just 36 hours to deliver my lecture, while the round-trip travel between California and Florianópolis took a total of 72 hours🤯 Out of the six flights I took, three were either canceled or delayed... possibly the longest travel time I’ve ever spent for the shortest visit!
To put it in perspective,
72 hours is enough time to travel around the world… one and a half times🌏✈️

This case came from Yokohama, Japan. I hadn’t have a chance to see this patient but I wanted to help an old man patient. We had a smooth communication over sea with digital & analog devices for this case.
Now he has new functional and aesthetic teeth so I believe he can enjoy his smile and eat nice meals in his beautiful life.
